Force Majeure
(for direct bookings or bookings made via an agency, until 20:00h of the day of check-in)
Force majeure is understood as any unforeseen, unavoidable situation beyond the customer’s control that prevents travel, such as: transport cancellations due to extreme weather conditions, airport closures, strikes, or similar causes that are duly justified and documented.
Standard Rate
With proof of transport cancellation:
- Free date modification.
- The new date MUST be communicated BEFORE the original check out date.
- Direct bookings: If the guest cancels at a later stage and fewer than seven days were remaining before the original arrival date, a 50% charge will apply in accordance with the standard cancellation policy (100% if it was after 15:00h)
- Reservations made through third parties (agencies) maintain the original conditions they had at the moment of modification. Their date modification must be requested through the corresponding agency and approved by the property.
Without proof of transport cancellation:
- €25 modification fee.
- The new date MUST be communicated BEFORE the original check out date.

Non-Refundable Rate
With proof of transport cancellation:
- Free modification.
- The new date MUST be communicated BEFORE the original check out date.
- The standard rate of the new room applies (the difference must be paid).
- The difference must be charged to the registered card (or requested via a payment link if no card is on file) in order to confirm the modification.
- If the new rate is lower, the original rate remains (no reduction).
- The reservation’s conditions stay non-refundable – such as the original booking.
- Reservations made through third parties (agencies) maintain the original conditions they had at the moment of modification. Their date modification must be requested through the corresponding agency and approved by the property.

Cancellation
If the customer decides to cancel:
- The cancellation policy according to the booked rate will apply.
- No-shows* are charged in full.
- The total or partial value of the booking will never be refunded or credited if the guest decides to arrive after the original check in date or leave before the original check-out date (decides to stay less nights than the original booking).
- Any reservation of which the reservation holder cannot be contacted until midnight of the day of arrival (no show) will be cancelled and charged in full.
- Invoices are issued only for direct bookings and bookings made via Booking.com for travel insurance claims. Any reservation made via Expedia or one of Expedia’s partners must contact their corresponding provider to request an invoice.
*A no show is considered any reservation which is not cancelled before 15:00h (local time) of the day of arrival and no guest is checking in. A 10€ surcharge per day from the original date of check-in will be applied to any reservation of which the reservation holder does not comply with his legal obligation of paying the corresponding charge for cancellation.
